The James Logan Percussion Ensemble has recently become a proud user of Innovative Percussion sticks and mallets. "The quality of the IP products is simply unmatched." states Mr. Oliver. The theme for the 2009 show is....(trumpets sounding): Where The Wild Things Are, based on Maurice Sendak's children's book! The night Max wore his wolf suit and made mischief of one kind and another, his mother called him "WILD THING!" and Max said "I'LL EAT YOU UP!". Later that night, after being sent to bed without supper, Max sailed to where the wild things are, was declared the king of all wild things and cried, "LET THE WILD RUMPUS START!" Set to Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, the Ritual of the Rival Tribes weaves in and out of the wild animals from Max's imagination. Join the Logan Band and Color Guard as they put on a rumpus that will leave you breathless and wishing that Max never had to leave the island of the Wild Things!
